At first it seemed too windy on Pelican Lake to proceed with our session ~ visions of rescheduling danced through my mind but we plowed ahead, and I am so glad we did!
These busy twin girls were as quick and boisterous as those rolling waves… I LOVED seeing them as it had been 2 years since our previous beach session. Lately, photographing families on beaches, I have strived for LESS perfection and MORE joy. Breezy, wind-blown hair, bare feet, turned faces and so much laughter. That is so much more pure than everyone staring at me. I hope as the years go by these images remind these darling girls of their summer vacations to the Cabin in Minnesota…
