Tomorrow at this time, Jessica & Phil will have in their arms, their newborn baby son.
We met recently at their home in Breezy Point, MN to document Jessica’s stunning pregnant tummy but mostly to capture the awe-inspiring relationship between these two. I was fortunate enough to photograph their wedding a couple of years ago, and I left their dinner hard pressed to think of another couple quite like them. I think an amazing component in their marriage is how they shout from the roof-tops their love and graditute for the other. Phil doesn’t just tell Jessica that he loves her, Phil tells the world that he loves her and that is one of the most beautiful things I can think of. It reminds me of the quote: the best gift a father can give to his children is to love their mother” These two make a remarkable couple, and I can only imagine them as parents.
Phil & Jess, THANK YOU for braving the dangerously cold temperatures with me. I couldn’t be happier for you as you anticipate how your life will change in just a few short hours. You are a blessing to each other, and your son will reap the benefits of your kind-hearted & loving ways. I feel fornuate to know you and call you friends. Enjoy tonight, but know: the best is yet to come…
