June 9th, 2014 was a great day in our family…Owen Warren Krafka was born to my brother, Josh & sister-in-law, Laura. Weighing in at a solid 9# 7 oz, Mr. Owen is the sweetest, squishiest little nephew I could ever have hoped to have.

As I drove his big sister, Peyten to the hospital to meet her new sibling for the first time, I jokingly squeeled to her: “I’m so excited to find out if I’m an aunt or an uncle!” Peyten and I laughed and laughed till we had tears in our eyes. After we caught our breath, she reminded me “You’re going to be an aunt if it’s a boy OR if it’s a girl, silly!” oh, yes, that’s right 🙂 The suspense was thrilling until finally Laura introduced Peyten to her brand new baby BROTHER.
A few days later I was eager to get my hands on the little guy and photograph his newborn pictures. Never will I tire from photographing my nieces and nephew. They make life so good:
